Dawn Foods was leasing a facility in New Jersey and needed a new location due to their rapid growth in the Northeast corridor. This decision was made in the Spring, with Dawn’s goal to be out of their existing location and into a new one by December, so they needed to find a facility that could be retrofitted quickly in order to help facilitate Dawn’s growth and prosperity.
Dawn Foods and Tippmann Group have had a long-standing business relationship over the years, with multiple construction projects, so when their fast-track construction project presented itself in New Jersey, they called on Tippmann Group to get the job done.
Once the location was chosen, Tippmann Group worked closely with the new landlord, a 3rd party builder (who was building a new dry facility at the time), and local officials in New Jersey in order to expedite the building process while the owner built the dry portion of the building, and Tippmann Group handled the cooler and freezer portions.
Working on a very short timeline, Tippmann Group was able to complete the 42,000 square foot freezer and cooler inside the building on time, so Dawn Foods could move their product into their new and improved distribution facility.
